Dr. Scott Randolph

Dr. Scott Randolph is a native of Sterling, Kansas. He received his DVM degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and moved back to Sterling immediately thereafter to practice at Ark Veterinary Clinic with his father, Dr. Delvin Randolph. His sister joined the practice three years later in 2000, and when their father passed away in 2007, they took over the practice. Then in 2010, he and his sister purchased the Lyons Veterinary Clinic. Practicing in a rural community, Dr. Scott has developed expertise in food animal, equine, and small animal medicine and surgery and is well known for his work with large animal exotics. Dr. Scott lives in Sterling (less than 100 yards from the Ark Veterinary Clinic) with his wife Kristin, and their four children: Harrison, Addisyn, Jolie, and Quentin. They also have five pet children: Buttercup (rescued Lab/Boxer mix), Rolo (dachshund), Waffles (dachshund), Snickers (rescued tortoise colored cat), and Reeses (rescued tortoise colored cat).

Dr. Shynia Peterman

Dr. Shynia Peterman is a native of Lyons, KS, graduating from Lyons High School in 2014. She attended Kansas State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. In May of 2021, Dr. Shynia graduates with her DVM Degree from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Shynia enjoys working on all animals but has a strong passion for beef cattle production medicine and reproduction. She has a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Daria, a Quarter Horse named Big Guy, and several spoiled cows. In her spare time, Dr. Shynia’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, riding horses, photography, and doing anything animal related.

Ashley

Ashley was born and raised in Lyons, and is now currently a resident of Chase. Ashley graduated in 2003 from Lyons High School and then went on to receive a Visual Communications degree from Hutchinson Community College. She loves spending time with family, especially her nephew. Some of her hobbies include reading, watching tv/movies, cooking, and supporting the Kansas Jayhawks (especially the basketball team). Ashley loves her job since she gets to work with different animals on a daily basis. Ashley currently has 3 cats: Mackie, Sweetpea and Barney. She also has one very spoiled Chihuahua/Yorkie named Piper, who is like her child. Most clients have gotten the opportunity to be greeted by Piper!
